Val Hunt

  Valerie is an accomplished artist, educator, designer, dj and dancer, whose career merges these diverse fields. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Florida Atlantic University, a Bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana State University, and a master’s in design from Arizona State University, giving her a unique, multidisciplinary perspective.

For over twenty years, Valerie practiced commercial interior design, collaborating with major clients such as Motorola, Kodak, and American Airlines. Her passion for art eventually drew her back to academia, where she has dedicated over 30 years to educating future generations. She has served on the faculty at The Art Institute of Phoenix, Arizona State University, Palm Beach Community College, and Maricopa County Community Colleges.

Currently, Valerie is a full-time artist, creating work that integrates sculpture, painting, performance, and design. Her work is enriched by the inspiration gained from her postgraduate studies at ASU.
